I HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB... SO I AGREE 100%
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me.
I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.
In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine
test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is
the distribution of my taxes to people who DON'T have to pass a urine
test.
Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because
I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no
problem with helping people get back on their feet, I do, on the other
hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their butt, doing
drugs, while I work. . . .
Can you imagine how much money the state
would save if people had to pass a urine test to get their public
assistance check?
Pass this along if you agree, simply delete if you don't. Hope you
all will pass it along, though. Something needs to change in this
country -- and soon!!!!!!!
I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

Hello Texas Senate, pass the Photo ID bill
During the last two legislative sessions voter identification bills passed the Texas House of Representatives. However, because of the blocker bill requiring 21 votes to bring this issue to the floor, those bills have been blocked from coming to a vote in the Senate. It is time to pass voter identification in the Senate and resolve the issue. The integrity of our entire election system depends on it. This is not a partisan issue. In 1998 an estimated 245 dead people voted in Harris County. See http://www.hctax.net for report. A photo id is required to board an airplane, rent a movie and to buy Sudafed. Reference material used. Time to be heard. Get involved and raise hell or let the corruption continue.

About 460,000 residents in north and northwest Harris County will see an increase on monthly water bills early next year due to a recent fee increase approved by the North Harris County Regional Water Authority. North authority officials said there are several reasons they approved the fee increase, and they did not do so without putting significant thought into the matter.
